We hit some estate sales and junk shops and found a few things we couldn’t live without. Wanna see what we got? I knew you would……
First up:
Who can resist an original acrylic painting of a couple of doe eyed kids? I can! Who can resist a couple of doe eyed kids, when one is striking a pose against a street lamp and smoking a cigarette? Not me! Perhaps it spoke to me on an unconscious Fassbinder/Querelle level. I will never confirm nor deny, but they are ours–and I have no idea where to put them……….
Susan? Lazy? Never!
We had to have a little talk with Susan before we brought her home. Being from California (created by Don Jay) she thought she could get away with just being pretty. Pretty only goes so far in our home/neighborhood! Sorry Susie, if you are coming home with us, you will need to serve up fabulous dips, snacks or condiments–and look pretty doing so.

Sometimes (most times) I actually base party food options on what Lazy Susan I want to use.
