Taking a mental health day from work can have its advantages. In addition to keeping the world a safer place, I managed to score some fun records to feed my vinyl addiction.
Who can resist some Beat Goes On, I Got You Babe and all their witty banter–Live!
I dont understand all the panty throwing that accompanies this guy. But apparently, It’s Not Unusual.
Love, love, love me some Sergio Mendes and Brasil ’66! You just cant help but to be happy bopping along with their songs.
Umm, yeah. I can admit that I own some Sandler and Young. This really resultant of a childhood memory. My Mom used to play their records and loved their version of Cabaret.
I enjoy some Petula Clark, but this one is really for Mike. He grins and “head bops” when he hears her music. Its kinda cute (but don’t tell him I said that). Funny thing is that on our copy of the album, her name is Pet Clark. I’m just glad its in stereo.
The youngest album in the group, but I dare you say you don’t like them. Fleetwood Mac had everything: great music and their own little Peyton Place going on behind the scenes.
Now, grab a cocktail and head on over to iTunes, Amazon or YouTube and search for your favorite artists. Let me know what you find–we can feed our addictions together. Cheers!
