Did y’all make it to the Houston Modern Market this weekend? We did, and a few items managed to find their way home with us………..
Pretty in pink. Hard to tell from the camera phone pic, but these Briard rocks glasses are what I call “poodle pink”. Kitschy and they match the cranes in the dining room wallpaper. Yes, the dining room has silver wallpaper with pink cranes. Ahem. Moving on…….
Forget two for tea, this set (with caddy) can handle four. Earl Grey, eat your heart out.
I love garlic. Never have I wondered where we would store it–until I saw this nifty container. With those rosy cheeks and nose, I suspect he has been storing some vodka too.
Made in Japan. Thats all the sticker said–well that and the price.
Ruffles have ridges………and they taste really blah without Lipton’s onion soup mix dip. Now we can serve them with flair. Add that to your shopping list ’cause ya know you want some.
Got Blenko? Until I met Jamie, I’d never heard of the stuff. Now I love me fun colored glassware. Not sure what the official name is, but I call this one the “horn ‘o plenty”.
So what treasures have you found? Leave a comment and tell us all about them.
Love the items!! I seriously adore the glasses. You have awesome taste!
And hey, I always loved that pink & silver crane wallpaper!! It matched those gorgeous pink dishes. Did you ever see those?? My fave things in the whole house. I have one place setting, plus the just-screams-retro cigarette holder and lighter. Classic.
Thanks, Gina. We love the wallpaper–and the pink drapes in the living room too. Yes, I am secure enough in my masculinity to admit that (ha ha).
Love, love, love those dishes!! We are always on the lookout for that pattern, but have never seen it anywhere else.
